Chainsaw Dance Demo 2.7

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN SPRITES, ADD THEM TO THE GAME AND BECOME A HAPPY PERSON.

This short tutorial will help you create your own little mod for the Chainsaw Dance game.

There is a DenjiMustacheMod.zip archive in the game folder, and it will help you in this difficult task as a template for creating your own unique dances.

  Your character's face, which will be displayed to the left of the health bar

  This picture is used in the character selection menu

• dancer_score_icon.png
  This small sprite sheet appears in the scoring menu, contains 3 states (each with 4 frames) - waiting, winning and losing.

  What we are here for!
  It's a dance spritesheet. You are free to do whatever you want - slightly change the appearance of the Denji, redraw him with another character, or completely change his dance moves.
  Note that all dance positions use 3 frames, while the sit idle sprite has 5 frames and the standby idle has 4 frames.

• data.json
  You can open it with notepad.
  It contains the name of the new character, and coordinates that can be changed in case your Dance_preview.png is smaller or larger than the original.

WHAT TO DO NEXT?

Now that you have shown your artistic skills and your imagination has run out, you need to save all your arts as png files under the same names.

• For the background, use a solid color fill that is not used in the sprites themselves.
• Create a zip archive with this files.

HOW DO I ADD MY CHARACTER TO THE GAME?

• Go to the game.
• Click PLAY.
• At the bottom of the character selection window, click on the plus sign (+),  add the zip file you created.

HOW TO ADD MY SONG TO THE GAME?

• Follow the link: https://chimu.moe/en/beatmaps?amount=40&offset=0
• In the search bar, click on the gear
• Select gamemod mania
• In the CS slider select 4 keys
• Download your favorite OSU map

In Game:

• press PLAY
• click on the plus sign (+)
• select your ozs file
